Dwarka this weekend, 17–18 October: two festive outings and how to plan them

By Dwarka Connect • Published and checked 13 October 2026

Looking for a weekend plan in Dwarka? Two currently listed festive events give residents options close to the neighbourhood. Rather than repeating a poster, this roundup explains what to compare before deciding where to go.

Option one: The Raas Affair

This outing is listed at The Omaxe State for 17–18 October, starting at 4 PM. Use our Raas Affair planning guide for the ticket, age and accessibility details, plus a checklist for organising your group.

Option two: Dandiya Mahotsav

The DDA Park event has sessions listed through 20 October, so the weekend falls within its current schedule. Read our Dandiya Mahotsav visit guide before selecting a session.

Compare the plans that matter to you

First choose your preferred day and time. An afternoon start and an evening start lead to different travel and meal plans. Next, check the precise venue pin. A location that looks nearby on a map can still require planning for the entrance, pickup point and return journey.

Compare the final booking total for your group rather than just the advertised starting price. Include transport, parking where applicable and refreshments. Read the cancellation terms before paying, especially if your group has not confirmed attendance.

A simple group checklist

1. Confirm who is coming and choose one session.
2. Review the organiser’s current entry rules.
3. Save tickets, accepted ID requirements and the venue pin.
4. Agree on a meeting point and a return plan.
5. Check for schedule changes again before leaving.

If you need a particular facility, ask directly. Do not assume every venue has seating, step-free access, parking or permission to bring bags and outside food.

Help shape the next roundup

Know an upcoming community activity, workshop or opening in Dwarka? Send the organiser’s link, date, precise location, entry cost and a contact method to contact@dwarkaconnect.com. Original photographs are welcome if you own them or have permission to share them.

A useful tip includes enough detail for another resident to act on it. If an event has been cancelled or its timing changes, include the organiser’s update so we can correct the listing.
